The in-home tech support service, Gizmo, has expanded to included metropolitan areas in Brisbane and Canberra.
Residents of these two cities can now call a Gizmotechs to come into their home and set up or repair computers, home cinema equipment and other technology for a flat fee.
The company says this latest roll out is part of its overall vision to offer its ‘dial-a-geek’ type service nationwide in Australia.
“Gizmo will continue to expand and provide personal and customised help to more Australians as they adopt new technology in their homes” said Gizmo’s CEO Brett Chenoweth.
In addition to the home service in Melbourne, Sydney and now Brisbane and Canberra, Gizmo also has a nationwide telephone help service available.
Home service visits are priced from $120 to $240 depending on the service required. Over the phone service is $60 (support that requires less than ten minutes costs only $20). And if the problem is that the customer requires a hardware or software upgrade, Gizmo offers a ‘no fix, no fee’ guarantee.
