Google at the weekend cancelled a major Android event which was set to be held in New York city today – and presumed to involve launch of new 7- and 10-inch Nexus tablets and the latest Android OS, Key Lime Pie.The event was cancelled due to the approach of Hurricane Sandy, which was expected to batter New York.
Google’s event was intended to compete with Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 launch in San Francisco on the same day. The company has yet to announce a new date.
