Google+ has fallen from grace with its traffic plummeting 60% as the social network fails to maintain user interest.
A new report has been released by data analytics firm Chitika revealing the dramatic drop. The firm said “The data shows that, on the day of its public debut, Google+ traffic skyrocketed to peak levels. But, soon after, traffic fell by over 60 percent as it returned to its normal, underwhelming state. It would appear that although high levels of publicity were able to draw new traffic to Google+, few of them saw reason to stay.”

Google+ can’t afford to lose any customers though, seeing as Facebook’s growth is showing no signs of easing up as it rapidly closes in on the one billion user mark. By comparison, Google+ has some 40 million users and with its growth stunting, its once promising future is in doubt.
