A studious hacker has managed to port Google Maps onto the latest Apple operating system.
Desperately want an iPhone 5 but have no interest in getting lost by following Apple’s Maps? Neither does Ryan Petrich. He managed to port the Google Maps application featured on iOS 5.1 to Apple’s current operating system, iOS 6.
Although Petrich’s handy work is usable, it’s not quite ready for release yet. Naturally your iPhone will need to be jailbroken to use the app, but as Gizmodo note, it shouldn’t be much trouble considering someone has already managed to jailbreak the iPhone 5.
