For the last 17 months, Google’s Street View project (affiliated with their Google Maps) has been the subject of an investigation conducted by the US Federal Commission. The commission was instigated by the flippant harvesting of personal information, such as emails, text messages and passwords, to which Google falsely alleged was the mistake of a rogue engineer.
