Amid the massive hype surrounding the launch of Grand Theft Auto IV, a local games developer has launched Coolest Girl In School, claiming it to be a controversial mobile game that’s like GTA for girls.
Inviting players to ‘lie, bitch, and flirt their way to the top of the high school ladder’, Coolest Girl In School is the world’s first mobile RPG (role playing game) made specifically for girls.

The game’s Adelaide based producers, Champagne for the Ladies and Kukan Studios say Coolest Girl in School allows players to laugh at the fickle nature of high school hierarchies, subvert stereotypes, and have fun doing so.
Holly Owen of Champagne for the Ladies believes the game has great potential in terms of audience: “Unlike other areas of gaming, well over half (59%) of casual mobile gamers are women but very few games are made specifically for female audiences.”
The Coolest Girl In School is available from today at www.coolestgirlinschool.com for $7.00 RRP.
