Harvey Norman and JB Hi Fi will both get the Wi Fi version of the new Motorola Xoom tablet which according to senior Motorla executives will also get an upgrade to Android Honeycomb 3.1.
The two retailers who have gone head to head in the tablet market will sell the new 32GB 10.1-inch tablet for $689.
According to Andrew Vollard the head of Telstra Mobile the new Motorola Xoom tablet has been” a big success” when l;aunched exclusively in Telstra shops in May.

The new Xoom Wi-Fi has a MicroSD card slot to expand memory by another 32GB, plus Bluetooth and USB connectivity. There’s a 5-megapixel rear camera with HD video recording and a 2-megapixel front facing camera for video chats over clients such as Google Talk.
