Harvey Norman has launched an online music store, with vouchers for the service available in-store.
The site, www.channelgo.com.au will allow Harvey Norman customers to share and download music and purchase tracks. There is also information on featured artists and their music.
The retailer is also introducing retail-branded music gift cards, which can be bought in-store and come in $5, $10, $20 and $50 denominations.
WMA and MP3 files will retail for $1.69 each on the site. Albums start at $16.99 and there will be daily catalogue updates and online customer support, Harvey Norman claims.
There are also stores specific to Intel ViiV and Windows Media Center, allowing tracks to be purchased for devices based on those platforms.
