Users can simply speak the names of TV shows or movies, voice search by genre, and launch apps and Web sites with spoken commands.
A mini-guide located at the bottom of the screen also provides additional recommendations.
The video also demonstrated tablet connectivity that allows Google TV to relay content to a smaller display.
However Google has not revealed when the new Google TV will make its appearance.
– In Australia the main user of the Android-based Google TV technology is Sony – its Google TV-enabled set-top box comes with some Sony Bravia televisions, or can be bought as a standalone unit for $299.
