Xbox 360 gamers will be able to help create the next installment of the popular first-person shooter series, Halo.
Microsoft and Bungie Studios, which develops the Halo games, will make a multiplayer public preview of Halo 3 available in the first half of 2007.
The preview will be posted on Xbox Live and is exclusive to the 360 console.
Gamers will be able to have a hands-on experience with the game and then report their feedback to Bungie Studios.
Bungie plans to take these comments on-board when refining the game for its final release.
You will also be able to catch a special preview of Halo 3 next month. Microsoft and Bungie have announced that a one-minute teaser ad will be available via the Xbox Live Marketplace in December.
Another special announcement for Xbox 360 users is that new content for Halo 2 will be available on Live during December. This includes new multiplayer maps.
