Several phone carriers in Australia are currently evaluating the potential roll out of the funky new LG wrist phone that is currently whipping up a storm in Europe claims LG management.
The phone which was first shown at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year could have been designed by James Bond gadget man Q with its smart design, text messaging capability from the wrist and video phone capability.

In Europe the handmade 3G+ watch phone is being rationed to a single device for each interested customer.
According to Carli Wilson the Marketing Manager for LG Mobile in Australia, there is every possibility that the new LG Wrist Phone could go on sale soon.
“We are currently talking to several carriers about the phone as there is a lot of interest. There is every possibility that we will launch the phone in Australia however we have no pricing yet as no deal with a carrier has been finalised” Said Wilson.
“We are aware that it is proving extremely popular in Europe and we have had good feedback here in Australia for the device”.
The new phone which is packed with features has a slick scratch-resistant touch screen which makes writing text messages from the wrist phone a breeze.
It also has an in-built speaker and MP3/AAC player which allow users to watch a video. Voice and video calls can also be made without having to lift a finger.
The combination of voice activated command, VGA camera and Bluetooth technology mean you can talk away to your friends by simply turning your wrist and giving the command.
LG claim that there is no truth to the rumour that ASIO and the Federal Police are looking to place bulk orders.
