Hotpoint the Australian appliance manufacturer has been placed into administration as ChannelNews hinted last week.
Jirsch Sutherland accountants has been appointed as administrators for the business.
Andrew Bobb, of Jirsch Sutherland, confirmed to ChannelNews that the company went into administration last week, attempts by ChannelNews to contact the Company last week failed to attract an answer.
Staff have been left in the lurch with questions now being asked as to whether the Company traded while insolvent.
