Previewed at CEDIA, 3D Now will convert your 2D TV into a 3D powerhouse by simply plugging it in. It requires the standardised HDMI connection and will convert any 3D input into 3D display.
That said you will need 3D active shutter glasses and a 3D source, which can be anything from a 3D broadcast, 3D game or 3D Blu-ray.
According to the company the Theatre “Plug N’ Play model provides 3D for every display” up to 1080p. There’s also a TheatrePlus variant, which is compatible with 7.2 surround sound.
The convenient 3D solution has a $299 dealer cost, and that’s thousands less than a new 3D TV.
