Four new Deskjet printers from HP have been launched and feature HP’s new ‘dual drop volume’ ink cartridge technology which delivers laser-quality black text and finely detailed image resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi.This technology offers smooth colour transition on photos and images printed in three colour, removing the need for customers to purchase an optional photo cartridge.

The printer cartridges for the new range also feature HP Vivera inks, which incorporates water and smudge-resistant properties. Customers may also choose optional high-capacity ink cartridges, which produce three times more black pages and two times more colour pages than standard cartridges for HP Deskjet printers.
The four new HP Deskjet Printers are the:
Deskjet D2560 single function printer: prints up to 26 pages per minute in black, and 20 pages per minute in colour;
Deskjet D4360 single function printer: prints up to 30 pages per minute in black, and 23 pages per minute in colour;
Deskjet F2280 all-in-one printer: printer, copier and scanner capable of printing up to 26 pages per minute in black, and 20 pages per minute in colour;
HP Deskjet F4280 all-in-one printer: printer, copier and scanner capable of printing up to 20 pages per minute in black, and 14 pages per minute.
Other feature include HP smart web printing tool for simple, intuitive printing from the internet. With the tool, pages are automatically adjusted to prevent cut-off edges and wasted print outs. Users can select and print only the content they would like, even combining portions of different web pages onto one page, in order to reduce paper and ink usage.
There is also a one-touch print-cancel button to prevent the printing of unwanted pages and a compact 80-sheet fold-up paper tray.
All printers incorporate photo printing from 4 x 6 inch to panorama-size, plus automatic red-eye removal. They are also integrated with HP’s Photosmart Essential Software and Snapfish.
