HP Rolls Out Tech Gear For Xmas

HP today unveiled a line-up of PC and printing solutions in time for Christmas. HP’s broad new product range allows users to experience stylish consumer mobility, entertainment and imaging technology in a way that compliments and simplifies their personal lives.

The latest suite of HP consumer notebook PCs and desktops offer the best in digital entertainment, home living and mobility, while enhancing consumer options for self expression and style. The new HP Photosmart Printer range offers consumers a variety of easy-to-use, wireless printing options and smart environmental choices, as well as HP’s next generation of printing technology with an innovative 5-ink printing system.

HP’s new touch-enabled all-in-one HP TouchSmart IQ800 series PC has an HD 25.5-inch touch screen and Blu-ray DVD player.

Other new HP products in the home living space include a new HP Pavilion Slimline PC and a range of new HP Pavilion Elite and Compaq Presario desktop PCs.

The Mini 1000 sports a glossy black wave design, weighs 1.02kg and with a 10.2-inch screen, and comes with a keyboard and Microsoft XP Home Basic software.

Other new HP products in the digital entertainment and mobility categories include the HP Pavilion HDX 16 and 18.4-inch notebooks with HD screens, two special edition notebooks and one bronze-coloured notebook, which all focus on style and design to compliment consumer’s lifestyles, a variety of Laser Mini Mice available in five different colours and a new range of Pavilion and Compaq Presario notebook PCs.

Designed to print, scan and copy photos and documents, the Photosmart C5380 unit features the aforementioned 5-ink printing system, which offers quick print speeds. Featuring a stylish design and 2.4-inch colour display, it allows users to view, edit and print photos – without a PC.

Users can also print more usable web pages without cutoff edges by using HP Smart Web Printing. Other new products in HP’s printing solutions line-up include the HP Photosmart C4580 and C6380 with built-in networking and wireless connectivity, HP Photosmart D5460, and the HP Scanjet G3110 photo scanner.
