Speculation is building about HTC’s next flagship smartphone, with it being reported a 5.5″ phablet could be in the works.Portuguese website 4GNews has reported sources as stating HTC is working on a smartphone called the HTC Hima Ace Plus.
According to the report, the Hima Ace Plus will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 2.3 GHz processor, and will come with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, and will be equipped with a 3000 mAh battery.
It will sport a 5.5″ QHD (2560 x 1440) display, BoomSound stereo speakers, and will be decked out with a 4 MP UltraPixel front camera and 20 MP main camera.
It could additionally feature a fingerprint scanner, capable of being activated even with the display off.
The Hima Ace Plus, however, is not expected to be available until later in the year, with 4GNews reporting it is expected to arrive around August or September.
