HTC is set to move into the tablet market in Australia with a new range of Android tablets. Among the range will be a new HTC 7 inch tablet.According to HTC sources attending a function in Sydney last night, the new tablets will be launched in the new year with JB Hi Fi set to be one of the retail stores stocking the Taiwanese phone company’s tablets.
Up until now HTC has resisted entering the tablet market in Australia due in part to a resistance by carriers in Australia to stock tablets made by smartphone companies.
Currently most carriers only stock the Apple iPad or the Samsung range of tablets.
HTC is set bundle a high quality white case in the retail package, along with a holder for the HTC Magic Pen accessory.
