HTC management are not saying whether Australia is set to be one of the Countries that will get a retail outlet similar to the stores that HTC op-ened last week in Taipai.
According to HTC management the new Taipei store will be the first of more than 100, each offering hands-on time with HTC’s range of devices, sales and servicing, similar to how Apple Stores operate.
It’s also tipped that consumers will be able to buy a HTC handset direct via a Company store later this year.
HTC said at the opening of their stores in Asia that they are looking to work with channel operators in the running of their stores.
Recently Nokia closed their flagship stores in several cities, while Microsoft is still trying to achieve the same results as the Apple stores with little success.
