Set to further intensify competition in the ‘pro-sumer’ gaming market, HyperX, has today released its first RGB gaming mouse – the ‘Pulsefire Surge’ (A$109) – following the launch of its well-received ‘Alloy Elite’ RGB Keyboard and Cloud Flight wireless headset.

With a Pixart 3389 sensor and 16,000 DPI resolutions, the new Pulsefire Surge RGB gaming mouse claims to provide “pinpoint accuracy” and smoother movements.

As previously reported, HyperX’s Alloy Elite RGB Keyboard and Cloud Flight wireless headset picked up 2018 iF Design Awards for product design (full review availble here and here).

Like its counterparts, the Pulsefire Surge gaming mouse has received a prestigious Red Dot design award.

HyperX affirms its new RGB gaming mouse incorporates feedback from “professional gaming teams”, for aspects such as form, fit, design and function.

“Our goal is to deliver the best designs and quality for every gamer, the Pulsefire Surge meets these standards of excellence”, asserts HyperX.

The Pulsefire Surge RGB gaming mouse has five customisable native  DPI settings (up to 16,000 DPI) to support most gamer’s preferences.

Users can personalise 360-degree RGB lighting effects via HyperX’s NGenuity software. Omron switches drive the left and right button – rated up to 50 million clicks.
