i-mate has unveiled four new mobile devices with an emphasis on customisation and security. The new phones will be available early next year.
The new line up includes the Ultimate 6150, Ultimate 8150, JAMA 101 and JAMA 201. Both ranges are powered by Windows Mobile 6 and include a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity and a microSD card slot.
The Ultimates are Quad-Band GSM/EDGE, Tri-Band UMTS/HSDPA phones, with a QWERTY keypad. They also feature a XGA Video Out connection so you can connect it to a digital projector, desktop or TV monitor. These two phones also come with 256MB ROM, 128MB RAM and Wi-Fi connectivity.
“We offer a superior mobile solution. This includes a full range of Windows Mobile devices of exceptional quality, innovative solutions, and extensive support, all exclusive to i-mate customers and free with every i-mate device,” says General Manager of i-mate APAC Michael Cavey.
The security features of the phones allow users to remotely lock down their mobile device, and/or wipe out any personal data in the event that their i-mate mobile device is lost or stolen. This even includes any information stored on an SD card. i-mate says it also offers extensive assistance to customers via Support i-Q from a 24×7 support line through to live support online and a 12/24-month global warranty.
