Telstra has finally begun rolling out the Ice Cream Sandwich update for their HTC Velocity 4G.
According to a company representative, the rollout kicked off yesterday afternoon at 3pm with Velocity users being automatically notified of an available update.

The 210MB download can be performed over the air (OTA) and will endow the Velocity with a few nifty new perks, including a stunning task manager and the ability to unlock your phone by staring at it.
Tesltra’s website still classifies the ICS update for the velocity as “currently in Telstra testing.” However, SmartHouse has confirmed the official rollout is underway to all customers.
