As demand for iPod goes south, Apple drops the price and touches up the coloursiPod touch still costs A$249 but has new specs, and Apple has dropped the RRP’s of pricer models between $30-$90.
Apple has just announced its 16GB iPod touch in ‘vibrant’ colours (yellow, blue, silver, space grey and Red), which and now has a 5 megapixel iSight Full HD camera, for A$249. The 32GB RRP has been trimmed to A$299 and 64GB is $90 cheaper at A$349.

These iPod touch models previously RRP’ed at $329 and $439 respectively, as Cupertino looks to lift demand of iPod, which is losing its relevance in the smartphone age.
All iPod’s, including the 16GB version, now have 4-inch Retina display, 5 megapixel camera, Apple’s A5 chip, FaceTime camera, Photos app, iCloud Photo Sharing, as Apple pushes the utility of the music player
However, the 16GB is currently listed as unavailable on Apple’s Aussie store, but says it will be available in the coming days, in all new colours.
