Acer has shown their strength in the global PC market with the launch two gaming notebooks gaming chair, four high performance monitors, an all-new all in one desktop, an e sports platform and a bevy of Chromebooks.

The Taiwanese Company was the first big press conference at IFA 2019 and one of the big standouts is their 300Hz display technology that is going to take Acer right up to the top of the display market for gaming.

This year Acer is in a head to head battle with Lenovo who are also pushing into the gaming market dominated by Acer with their Predator range.acer predator triton 300 fall ifa 2019 1 768x768 IFA 2019: Acer Takes Gaming To New Level With 300Hz Display

A new and upgraded Predator Triton series was revealed and in addition to announcing a slim gaming laptop in the form of the Acer Predator Triton 300 the Company has also revealed a sleek Predator Triton 500 gaming notebook with a display that supports a fast 300Hz refresh rate and Nvidia’s G-Sync technology.

Observers at the event claim that a screen this fast is going to appeal to the hard-core gamers who are prepared to pay a premium for that faster kill time, and having the ability to stay ahead of their components.

The new 300Hz refresh rate leaves archrival Alienware’s G-Sync recently revamped 34-inch curved gaming display at 240Hz in second place behind the new Acer offering.

The Predator Triton 500 boasts an impressive 15.6-inch FHD display with fast refresh rates and a design with an 81 percent screen-to-body ratio due to the small, narrow bezels around the screen.

At just 19.9mm thin, this laptop weighs 2 Kilo, making it one of the more portable gaming laptops especially as it comes with some impressive specs such as Intel’s 9th-Gen Core i7 processor and discrete graphics support.acer predator triton 500 ifa 2019 768x768 IFA 2019: Acer Takes Gaming To New Level With 300Hz Display

The previous-generation Triton 500 came with an Intel Core i7 CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 20890 graphics in a slim Max-Q design, as well as a display supporting a 144Hz refresh rate.

Another interesting announcement was the all new he Predator Thronos Air gaming chair which in Australia could cost a diehard gamer up to $20K and I suspect it will be a special-order product.

It incorporates an adjustable keyboard and mouse tray and there is even a cup holder for the beer can.

Other options are USB hub, camera for livestreaming, headset holder, and seat stabilizer.

It is a battle station product and at this stage there is no word regarding when it will be released.

Acer has also come up with Planet9, an open platform for casual and amateur gamers seeking to learn from the pros and build a team to play online tournaments.

It is in closed right now and but will available as open beta on January 30, 2020.

Acer claims Planet9 will provide coaching, game statistics, etc. for gamers to up their skills.

In the traditional PC market Acer has delivered several new notebooks, they include:
