Images tweeted out by an engineer working for Intel suggest the tech company have an accessory for the HTC Vive in the works.
Dimitri Diakopoulos tweeted out the picture of the accessory, which attaches to the front of the VR headset.
Some have already speculated the accessory will enable further depth-sensitivity and improve hand-tracking for the virtual reality device.
Diakopoulos indicated on Twitter later that the device was a prototype for detecting the environment around the user.
It’s possible that ffurther information or even a demo could be seen at the upcoming Intel Developer Conference.
