Intel aims to drive sales in the SMB market with the appointment of a new channel marketing manager, Kathryn Hudson, who will work with Intel’s channel partners and technology providers to increase sales.Hudson will target small format resellers, system builders, and the broader SMB
market to bring more sales in across Australia and New Zealand.
With 3,900 channel partners and over 800 technology providers, the scope of Hudson’s role is large but Intel’s national marketing manager, Danielle Watts, says she is up to the task.
“Kathryn brings a
strong understanding of the enthusiast and gaming market to the role and has
experience in the channel world, leading integrated marketing campaigns for
resellers,” said Watts.

Hudson has experience working at Dell for the past seven years where she was the marketing manager for gaming across Asia Pacific and Japan. With
the experience she has gained in brand marketing across IT and consumer
electronics, she said she is looking forward to working at Intel.
“There is so much creativity in the DIY, NUC and
enthusiast areas particularly as the maker movement is gaining momentum – so
it’s a very exciting time to be part of Intel,” she said.
