The upcoming iOS 12 is now available to download in beta mode, for those who want to try out the OS before the public gets it.
The iOS 12 beta is available to download from Apple’s dedicated beta program site.
Those using the iOS 12 beta can provide feedback directly to Apple using the Feedback Assistant app.
During WWDC earlier this month, Apple unveiled iOS 12 showing more software fixes than new features.
This iOS is designed to help Apple users curb their phone usage with Screen Time, an application showing how much time users spend on each app, how many times their device is picked up and can limit time spent on particular apps.
The tech giant says iOS 12 has been built to make everyday tasks faster across the system. Apple says, ‘Camera launches up to 70 percent faster, the keyboard appears up to 50 percent faster and typing is more responsive. Even when there is a lot going on across the system, apps can launch up to twice as fast.’
Also new to iOS 12 are Memojis, grouped notifications, group FaceTime calls and new Siri shortcuts.
