The first week of October is firming as the week that Apple will launch their new iPhone 5.According to a leaked memo from US retailer Best Buy the Company is preparing itself for an iPhone 5 launch in early October after a staff memo shows the company expecting an iPhone 5 introduction soon with anticipation of an “October week 1 launch.”
Other comments in the memo could put the release date later. Best Buy Mobile managers are due to talk about “upcoming big release dates” on October 10 and, on October 21, receiving a new “Apple fixture.” The installation wasn’t described as an iPhone by name, but it would unusually require a manager to be available an hour earlier than usual for inventory, similar to what happened last year for the iPhone 4.
Electronista claim that both tips leave room for flexibility in the release but support the overall expectations of a release in mid-October and with Sprint added as a third US carrier.
