Just when you thought that Apple was at the leading edge in smart phone design along comes BenQ with a range of designs that are to say the least a little different.
The designs show clearly that apple is not alone in the development of touch screen phones. But is does beg one to ask is mobile phones design going to keep getting crazier and crazier. We know that Companies like Motorola and Nokia are set to deliver new phones this year and we know that some of the range will be large touch screen phones that allow easy access to content on the screen for Video and Audio streaming. BenQ who had lengthy discussions with Apple about manufacturing the Apple iPhone is set to launch a phone that goes head to head with the now popular Apple mobile phone.
Here’s a small sample of what BenQ have come up with thus far. 
They have a “snake-clinging design” that resembles a wraparound bracelet, complete with prominent music controls; one that gets all warped out of shape as if it were in a funhouse mirror, providing a “non-symmetric body and ununiformed key pad” that can be bent and twisted to fit your fancy; and a touch screen concept that is probably the most normal looking of the three.
