BlackBerry keyboard diehards are rejoicing.
Telstra today announced that the “classic” BlackBerry Q10 with touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard will hit telco town on July 2, starting at $60 for plans.
The 3.1 inch touchscreen 4G BlackBerry Q10 has a 1.5 GHz dual core processor, 8MP camera, 16GB internal storage (you can add additional 32GB) and runs the new BlackBerry 10.1 operating system.
It also has the unique BBM Messenger text voice and video chat, and screen sharing with other BlackBerry 10 contacts.
Telstra says its 4G coverage is “on track to reach 66 per cent of Australians by 30 June”.
The BlackBerry 10.1 operating system lets users separate work and personal content – protecting privacy.
There are also similar consumer plans for $60.
Or you can purchase the BlackBerry Q10 for $744 outright.
The BlackBerry Q10 is not compatible with BES or BIS plans and customers who take up the BlackBerry Q10 will not be able to take up BES or BIS plans.
