The newest operating system for Blackberry’s is now free Vodafone’s users.

The smartphone software update is available for the BlackBerry Bold 9700, Curve 3G and Pearl 3G Ssmartphones, its Canadian makers, Research In Motion, said today.
The new OS features a redesigned interface with a trackpad, touch screen, expanded messaging capabilities that simplify managing social media and RSS feeds.
It also offers a new universal search tool and a WebKit-based browser that renders web pages quickly for a better browsing experience, it claims.
Users can get the update by connecting their BlackBerry smartphone to their computer, then visit www.blackberry.com/update from their computer, click “check for updates” and simply follow the on-screen instructions.
BlackBerry 6 offers multiple views that help users better organise their applications and content and Desktop Software 6 syncs photos and videos as well as iTunes and Windows Media Player music.
