ViewSonic has just revealed the first ever 7 inch tab on Honeycomb, ViewPad 7x, after much speculation.
ViewPad 7x, the first make to debut with Android Honeycomb 3.0.1 OS, hit the tiles at Computex on Tuesday in LA this week surpassing the HTC Flyer, also tipped to desize the bog standard 10 inch tab screen.
The Honeycomb update to the ViewPad 7 sports a high speed Nvidia Dual Core Tegra 2 processor to deliver a highly responsive touch screen (1024 x 600 res) as previously reported by Smarthouse, 1GB of RAM, HDMI out, dual cameras HSPA+ and DLNA.

The nifty little number also comes with ViewSonic’s Viewscene 3D user interface.
And by all accounts it is “a very impressively featured tablet” proclaimed one reviewer of the 7 inch delight, which gives the tab consumer everything a larger full featured tab offers but “at a smaller price point and form” – it weights just 380g.
This brings us to our next question. The Price.
No sums were being distributed by ViewSonic reps at Computex unfortunately but we should know more when it is launched later this year.
