Confirmed: new Apple devices are a-comingApple have just sent out media invitations for an event taking place on September 9, which simply states: “Wish we could say more.”
The event, believed to be where Apple will unveil its long awaited larger screen iPhone 6, and possibly, iWatch will take place in California’s Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, located near the Apple campus. Apple always launches new iPhones in September, which usually go on sale days later.
Multiple iPhone 6’s are said to be launched -a 4.7″ and a 5.5″ – as Apple plays catch-up with Samsung and other Androids, who have wooed the consumer with bigger, ‘phablet’ style mobiles.

The screen is tipped to be a step up to a ‘Retina display+’ with 1,704×904 resolution, flexible and scratch-proof sapphire screen and run a faster A8 processor.
It will be event everyone will be watching, including Samsung who even pre-empted the hype around iPhone 6 by launching a glossy new Galaxy Alpha.
Apple’s first wearable device, which bloggers have christened ‘iWatch’, is also said to be making an appearance at the Performing Arts Centre.
The watch, which may also be called ‘iTime’ is said to have fitness functionality, and even a heart rate monitor.
