They say status is everything and it looks like the social network agrees.
Its latest app to hit users is its new ‘Break-up notifier’ app which will let everyone know when couples call it a day.
The app allows users to list friends they may have their eye on and get a notifier e-mail if they break up, changing their relationship status.
“You like someone. They’re in a relationship. Be the first to know when they’re out of it,’ the tool promises.
“Yes, it’s that easy,” proclaims the social network, which has already brought stalking potential love interests to an entirely new level.
Users can now track their friends’ every move and with the popularity of the ‘check-in’ service can know exactly when and where they are at a specific location.
Launched by US developer Dan Loewenherz from his website on Saturday, it was downloaded 40,000 times at last count, according to ABC.
The app scans Facebook relationship statuses every 10 minutes and sends e-mails about the changes.
