The battle between LG and Samsung to dominate in the premium TV market has just got another kick along with LG and JB HI Fi teaming up with a major 16-page, upgrade catalogue that saw the price of the LG 86” 4K Ultra High Definition TV dropped to $4,995.
JB Hi Fi was also offering the top end LG V30 smartphone that got 10/10 ratings around the world for just $499.
Also discounted out is the LG 55” OLED Ultra HD HDR TV which is selling for $1,995.
The catalogue was also used to promote LG’s OLED TV’s and sound bars as well as their new LG Connected Home technology that allows users to not only take control of their entertainment but their home devices spanning LG washing machines and dryers, refrigerators and speakers.
The LG Smart ThinQ control system also works with LG soundbars and in a direct challenge to the Samsung Bixby speaker LG has launched the LG XBoom AI ThinQ speaker that allows you to control all your devices using Google Assistant.
In other moves an LG 454 litre Bottom Mount Fridge has been discounted out to $1,099.
During the past few weeks both Samsung and LG have discounted out their 2019 TV line up with demand for Samsung sub $2,000 65” TV’s soaring according to The Good Guys management.
