Harman has announced a Bluetooth 5.2 turntable with aptX HD encoding that it claims will deliver the “authentic sound” of vinyl records.
The Spinner BT sports a sensor that locks the speed of the revolutions, guaranteeing perfectly pitched playback of vinyl recordings.
An Audio Technica magnet cartridge is installed, and can be swapped out easily, thanks to a removable head shell.
The JBL Spinner BT also offers analogue output with switchable moving magnet phono stage and an integrated phono preamplifier for those who prefer to simply integrate the Spinner into their wired setup.
The Spinner will be available from the second quarter of the year, for approximately A$599.
