The PowerLift Back-Up Battery and Dock gives the iPhone 4 a handsfree stand and rapid charging via a 1200mAh battery pack. It can add up to 20 hours of music, 5 hours of video, 3.5 hours of talk and 1.5 hours of FaceTime to your iPhone 4.
The PowerLift also has a kickstand flip that opens up to let you enjoy FaceTime chats and videos. It features two-position charging: in-line use for phone conversations and docking for charge, sync and FaceTime. It also works with most iPhone 4 cases and the LED battery indicator light tells you how much power you have left. A 30-pin connector and USB cable are built in to the device which retails at $59.95. It will be available from March 21.
For the iPad, Kensington’s BlackBelt Protection Band wraps the device with an industrial rubberised band, giving you a secure grip while handling the iPad, and cushioning it from accidental drops by abosorbing shock. You still get access to all the ports controls and switches, and the soft rubber is still light enough to carry around. It is available now priced $29.95, while the BlackBelt for the iPad 2 will be available from April.
The company has also launched the Virtuoso Touch Screen Stylus for iPad and iPad 2 which allows you to create, annotate and capture your ideas using Apps like SketchBook, iAnnotate and Penultimate. The Virtuoso features a smooth touch tip on one end, with a ballpoint pen with Parker ball pen refill at the other end. It will retail at $29.95 from early-April in gunmetal finish.
Kensington’s PowerBolt Duo Car Charger and PowerBolt Micro Car Charger from its current range are priced $34.95 and $29.95 and are also compatible with the iPad 2, enabling you to charge both iPad or iPad 2 while out and about.
