The headphones uses the single-flange, medium-sized ear gel, although users can change the ear gels according to preference. For maximum comfort, the pack includes three sizes of single flange ear gels (small, medium, and large), and two sizes of double flange ear gels (small and large). These ear gels will affect not only the fit and comfort, but sound quality as well.
The cleaning tool provided is used to remove wax build-up from the ear gels and nozzle.

We were impressed with the X5’s overall performance. On tracks like Metallica’s “The Day That Never Comes”, vocals were warm, cymbals were clear and crisp, and the bass was deep and punchy. Dance tracks like Sneaky Sound System’s “Kansas City” also sounded good, with the bass complementing the vocals without distorting other instruments.
Overall, the X5 is a great set of in-ear cans that you can use during your long commute. It will envelop you with music any time of the day, and is a sure fire way to block noisy conversations anywhere. The Klipsch X5 is available now with an RRP of $299.
