Klipsch has taken the wraps off its X20i in-ear headphones, with the flagship model powered by a two-way dual armature design, with a high-horsepower woofer mated to a high-resolution super tweeter.Klipsch states the X20i reproduces high frequencies along with a “clear, full and warm” bass, producing a “palpable sound character that delivers a broad bandwidth, transparent and realistic sound”.
The X20i are crafted from injection-moulded surgical-grade stainless steel, sporting a black stainless finish, with Klipsch stating they are the brand’s most durable in-ear headphone.
The X20i sport patented oval ear tips for comfortable wear, designed to naturally fit the contours of the ear
canal, which Klipsch states provides for comfortable long-term wear, and “offer superior noise isolation (or passive noise-cancellation), blocking out almost all ambient noise and providing excellent bass”.
Accessories include interchangeable
cables, an Apple-compatible advanced three-button mic and remote, a
genuine leather case and five different-sized ear-tips.
“The acoustics, craftsmanship and comfort are world-class and a statement for the quality of Klipsch headphones,” Vlad Grodzinskiy, Klipsch senior manager of headphone product development, commented.
“We always work to simplify and improve, and our two discrete balanced armatures achieve less distortion and higher clarity than models with twice as many components.”
