Kogan Technologies today launched a Full HD Video Camera for $399, which is a lot cheaper than similar cameras on the market, claims company founder Ruslan Kogan.

It includes an 8GB SDHC card (expandable to 64GB), component and USB output leads, software for editing and managing videos, and a bright 3-inch LCD screen.
“We’ve hit the sweet spot with the camera by offering a perfect combination of quality, specifications, and price,” claims Kogan. “The success of the Kogan business and brand has allowed us to expand our range beyond LCD TVs. We now sell computer monitors, digital photo frames, GPS navigation devices, and cameras. Our direct business model [means] we cut out the middle men and pass the savings onto customers.”
