The inclusion of Face Detection will help achieve perfect people shots by identifying the subject’s face within the image and altering the brightness to ensure the best result. SELPHY printers also contain a Red-Eye Correction feature to produce more natural-looking images.
Photos print in approximately 55 seconds, and can be mailed as a photo postcard print or traded with friends using photo stickers and wallet-sized paper options. An easy-to-install combined paper and ink cassette allows even the youngest of family members to load, lock and print photos easily. This combined coloured ink and paper cassette features an overcoat layer that prevents fading and smudging of colours caused by ultraviolet light, gas and other environmental factors, ensuring photos can be shared with future generations. When sealed in an album, this colour quality lasts more than 100 years, claims Canon.
Both printers allow users to print directly from memory cards or mobile phones, helping to avoid spending hours loading and sorting pictures onto a computer or memory stick.
The SELPHY ES3 has an internal memory that can now store approximately 1,000 photos. Reprint mode can store around 100 photos, then preview and edit for optimal results on a 3.5 inch LCD screen. The SELPHY ES3 can also print photos directly from compatible mobile phones, using either built-in infrared connectivity or the optional Bluetooth adaptor.
The ES30 is perfect for the user who wants to get more creative, featuring gold and silver optional frames and designs. It incorporates a 3.0 inch colour screen and prints ultra-fast photos in under a minute. Enjoy photo variety, as the SELPHY ES30 supports a number of photo paper options, including postcard, large and credit card size.
