The state-of-the-art video screens are said to be 50 percent bigger than the ones featured at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
The biggest ever installation of its kind in the world will give Australian sports fans a whole new dimension to the live sport and entertainment experience, says Panasonic.
These current units will replace old Panasonic screens that have been in place since the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Both the new units will offer 1080i HD, which in practical terms means the contrast and brightness levels will supercede the current models in place.
