Consumer IT and electronics solutions provider Laser Corporation has appointed Vernon Mikhael as its general manager of sales, responsible for driving channel growth and expansion across Australia and New Zealand.Mikhael brings 20 years’ consumer electronics industry experience to the role, including stints at Asus, Toshiba, Uniden, Intel and Microsoft.
Laser stated his recruitment “comes at a vital time” for the company as it “undergoes significant product category growth and channel expansion”.
“2015 is going to be another big year for us, and we are pleased to announce Vernon’s appointment,” commented Laser managing director Chris Lau.
“He brings with him product and technical expertise, which compliments the company’s new product portfolios in tablet computers, connected home and wearable technology.”
Mikhael stated he is “very excited to join the Laser family” and confident Laser “can continue achieving company growth”.
“We have a very exciting line-up this year, and we have already started building the foundations to take Laser to the next level,” Mikhael commented.
