A series of photos of what is apparently the LG G4 have leaked online, revealing a curved design and a leather backing with stitching running down the middle for LG’s upcoming flagship smartphone.Tech tipster Evan Blass discovered an unannounced product site, posting a link via Twitter – and while the site has since been taken down, a number of images have provided additional insight as to what to expect ahead of the G4’s April 28 launch.
The photos reveal a number of colour options for the leather-bound G4, including red, blue, grey, yellow and black, while plastic-backed models are also displayed.
A number of the G4’s specs have been revealed in recent weeks, as LG gears up to launch its answer to Apple’s iPhone 6 and 6 Plus and Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and S6 edge.
Last week, LG Innotek announced the development of a 16 MP camera module with an aperture of f/1.8, its widest aperture camera developed for a smartphone.
“We are extremely excited to see our technology in LG’s next flagship smartphone because we believe that the power, precision and operability of our camera module will clearly make an impression on consumers,” Ung-beom Lee, LG Innotek CEO, stated of the new tech.
As reported by Trusted Reviews, other G4 features are set to include a 5.5″ 2560 x 1440 pixel QHD display, an 8 MP front camera and a 3,000 mAh battery, while the latest leak indicates G4 accessories will include a quick-view case and a wireless charging dock.
