Lenovo has further expanded into the audio market, with the unveiling of its new noise cancelling headphones designed for Yoga and ThinkPad laptops.
It follows the Australian launch of Microsoft’s Surface Headphones, potentially paving the way for other traditional PC manufacturers.
Reported by The Verge, the new Yoga ANC headphones encompass a white design, whilst the X1 ANC headphones are more ThinkPad-esque in silver and black.
Both headphones support Windows, Apple, iOS and Android devices, with Bluetooth and USB-C connectivity.
Whilst battery life details are yet to be confirmed, the headphones claim to be fully charged in under two hours via USB-C.
Aimed at the professional executive and business market, the headphones are designed for conference calls and optimised for Skype calling.
Functionality is further enhanced via comfortable cushion cups and quick access volume controls.
Whilst local pricing and availability is yet to be confirmed, the Yoga headphones will land in the US in July for US$169.99, with the ThinkPad version retailing for $149.99.
Joining the new headphones, Lenovo has also unveiled a new 14-inch portable monitor, connectable via USB-C.
The lightweight and compact device acts as second laptop screen, with an additional base stand able to line both devices up.
Local pricing and availability to be confirmed.
