As of today, it’s official – PC company Lenovo is out of the mobile handset business, after selling the division for $US100M two months ago to a private capital group.

According to a report in PCWorld, shipments for Lenovo’s mobile unit, whose handsets were sold primarily in China declined 31 per cent in the quarter ending in December of last year, although it still managed to earn $US108 million in revenue.
