Notebooks can now run dual-screen with ease with Lenovo’s new USB widescreen monitor, the ThinkVision LT1421.
Dual screen displays were once the domain of PC set-ups with a video card that supports multi-screen, but Lenovo’s latest 14 inch plug-and-play option makes the process a lot simpler.
The 14 inch LED screen weighs 835 grams and measures in at just under a centimetre thick, intended for the business user who can slot it into their laptop carry cases on the go. It maxes out at 1366×768 resolution.
It connects to a PC or notebook via any typical USB port and props up like a picture frame, with automatic resolution detection and display mode set up to make the process simple. From here, the screen extends the Windows desktop for easier multitasking or up-close presentations.
The newly released LT1421 runs at $180 and features a three year warranty.
