Lenovo has further expanded into the wearables market with the launch of its new Carme HW25P smartwatch, featuring an IP68 rating (dust, dirt and sand-proof) and 7-days battery life.
The product is initially only available in India (for roughly around $75 AUD) and there is currently no confirmation on local availability and pricing.
Supporting both Android and iOS through Bluetooth 4.2, the new smartwatch sports a 1.3-inch single touch colour display and a 2.5D curved surface design – allowing for better view of the on-screen content, even from different angles.
The Carme will come in two colours (black and green) and will share similar features found in other smartwatches.
These features include a variety of activity trackers, 24-hour heart rate and sleep monitoring, display notification alerts for calls and messages, weather forecasts, a stopwatch and alarm clock, as well as ‘Find My Phone’ functions.
“Lenovo has always met the ever-changing needs of the youth with offerings that serve their aspirations,” said CP Khandelwal, founder, PR Innovations.
“Owing to the needs of the tech-savvy generation, Lenovo Carme brings alive the latest technology with a unique combination of trendy design and wide array of smart features.”
