Lenovo has taken the wraps off two new offerings designed with portability in mind in the form of its Yoga Home 900 portable all-in-one desktop and Yoga 900 convertible laptop.Lenovo states the 27″ touchscreen Yoga Home 900 “challenges the notion of a typical desktop PC”, being designed for portability, without need for cords or a desk, “reaching nearly any corner of the home”.
Decked out with up to an Intel 5th gen Core i7 processor, and featuring optional Nvidia GeForce 940A graphics, the Yoga Home 900 runs Windows 10 and provides up to three hours of battery life.
Lenovo states an improved Aura 3.0 interface comes with enhanced photo facial recognition and editing features, with users able to lay the Yoga Home 900 flat and launch Aura 3.0 to access “photos, videos and hundreds of new entertainment, productivity and education apps through the new Aura Store, now linked

to the Windows Store”, with a curated set of apps from the Windows Store working best with the Yoga Home 900’s touch capabilities.
The Yoga 900 convertible laptop, meanwhile, is equipped with up to Intel’s latest 6th gen Core i7 processor, and measures in at 14.9 mm thin, weighing 1.29 kg. It sports four usage modes (laptop, stand, tent and tablet), designed to let users work, watch or play in a variety of scenarios.
It features a 13.3″ QHD+ (3200×1800) IPS display, which Lenovo states has a wide viewing angle that takes full advantage of Windows 10, and comes with a Samsung solid state drive, with memory capacity offered up to 16 GB, with Lenovo stating 50 per cent greater battery density compared to the previous generation allows it to achieve up to nine hours of local video playback.
Lenovo states that an improved watchband hinge “provides a noticeably smoother rotation – allowing users to flip and fold their Yoga 900 easily into different modes”.

Pricing for the Yoga 900 starts from $2,199, with it to be available via www.lenovo.com starting in October, with Lenovo stating further retail partners will be confirmed. Pricing details for the Yoga Home 900, which will be available later in the year via selected Lenovo retail partners, are yet to be confirmed.
