In addition to its palm-reading G8 and 5G V50, LG unveiled three new midrange smartphones which offer advanced features without the price: The LG Q60, LG K50 and LG K40.
Each device features LG’s HD+ FullVision displays – 6.26-inch for the LG Q60 and LG K50 and 5.7-inch in the LG K40.
The LG Q60 and K50 both include a 13MP front-facing camera in a water drop cutout to get the maximum real estate of the FullVision display.
LG Q60
In addition to its 13MP front-facing camera, the Q60 features a three rear camera setup with a 16MP camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), a 5MP for Super Wide Angle shots, and a 2MP shooter with Depth Sensor.
The K50 has a 13MP with PDAF and a 2MP shooter with Depth Sensor on its rear and the K40 offers an 8MP front-facing camera and a rear-facing 13MP camera with PDAF.
All three are equipped with an AI Camera, dubbed AI Cam, which enables the camera to recognise the object/subject in front of it and suggest a suitable shooting mode for optimum results.
Each model in the range sports a dedicated Google Assistant button that provides instant access to the virtual assistant.
LG K50
All three also feature DTS:X 3D Surround Sound which LG says simulates a 7.1-channel surround sound system for an immersive content experience.
The mid-range devices also include a fingerprint sensor and support 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks.
The Q60 and K50 are powered by a 3,500mAh battery, while the smaller K40 runs on a 3,000mAh battery.
