LG Australia has announced the first lucky winners of a brand new BMW in its Reward Yourself Competition.
The Smarthouse Team has spoken with Konstantinos Xigas, one of the first winners to receive a brand new BMW 320i after purchasing an LG 42LH50YD 200Hz Full HD LCD TV.
“I feel very lucky. I did the right thing at the right time. Purchasing a brand new TV has been in my mind for a long, long time,” says Xigas.
“It was about a year and a half ago, I went to get an X-ray when I saw a TV that had a beautiful picture. It was mounted and I couldn’t see who made it, so I had the woman sitting next to me check. When she told me that it was from LG, I couldn’t believe it. There are so many brands out there but the picture produced by the screen was one of the best I have seen.”
“When my 10 year-old TV broke down on the 7th of September, I immediately went to buy an LG. We were supposed to submit our entry after that, but since there was a problem with our Internet my wife had to go to my daughter’s house and place our entry there.”
“Three days later, I get a call telling me I won. It is just amazing. I bought the TV and put the entry at the right time. Overall, I am very happy with the LG TV: the colours are good and the sound is just unbelievable. It’s just perfect in our living room,” he said.

The promotion will end on November 1, 2009, with entries closing on November 6. To enter the promotion, customers must purchase one of the elected LG products included in the promotion from participating retailers during the promotional period. Consumers then go online, enter the product serial number at the dedicated microsite, www.lgedrive.com.au and follow the prompts to complete the entry form.
